Hi I have an MSI GE72 APACHE PRO With

Processor: Intel Core i7-6700HQ Quad Core Processor (2.6-3.5GHz)
RAM: 16GB (8GB x2) DDR4 2133MHz | Hard Drive: 128GB SSD (PCIE Gen3 x4) + 1TB (7200RPM)
Operating System: Windows 10
Graphics Card: NVIDIA Geforce GTX970M 3G GDDR5

Until a few months ago I was getting a stable fps of 55-60 on all my games on the required settings

But recently I've been getting an almost nonexistent fps of 10-15FPS
(sometimes even below 10) on all my games even overwatch on the lowest settings.
Nothing seems to work I've tried everything I could possibily think of from reinstalling the nvidia drivers to factory resetting the device and starting up with a fresh windows.

Please Help me!!!! I really need it!!!

Cleaning the heatsinks out would be different for every laptop model. My ex-gf's laptop would not slow down, but basically would just shut off.

In the case of hers, we had to remove the keyboard, and I think one or two other things under it (it's been a few years), then vacuum out the dust from the heatsink. It would get really clogged up in there.

Also, make sure the fans are working.
