Extremely uncommon F_PANEL and USB hookups

Hello!

I purchased a Lenovo k450e several years ago, and I'm currently upgrading to a new case. The first problems I ran into was the F_PANEL, which is unlike many others. Instead of having ten pins, (or nine) it has 14. I was able to successfully hook up the power switch, but I have absolutely no idea where the HD LED's or the normal LED's go, as well as the reset switch. Also, my new case has several USB 3.0's that have a female pin hookup, while the motherboard has an awkward female port as well. I don't really know how to describe it.

What in the world do I hook up for my F_PANEL, and do I need an adapter for the usb's?

Side note: I also have the same problem with my audio. The pin hookup is way longer than my motherboard allows, so I don't know what to do.

Motherboard: D33008 (It doesn't have a name. After extensive research, I found it's an Intel H87 Chipset) Here are the only pictures I can find:

Case: Rosewill Nighthawk 117

That's the best photo that encompasses all of it. At the top right you can see the USB1, FPANEL in black at the bottom, and the audio is in another photo on the website. (Bottom left)

was wondering why i kept getting msi boards with the search. seems the lenovo board is a relabel msi board. model "MSI B85M-G43" at least that's what i am reading a few places.

if this is right, here is the manual for that board from msi site https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B85M-G43.html#down-manual. it has the pin layouts there. see if that matches what your board has. CIB 85M is the actual model number of that board you linked the pic to, so that's what i started searching with.
what you have found out is that pre-built systems often use custom designs for the cases and boards. the way they hook up is not standard at all like the parts we buy separate. power supply is another place that can have custom connections as well. not always but often enough

dell is bad with this as well. what you will have to do is some very serious goole searching to see if you can find a service manual or white sheet for the board or something like that. this should have the pin layouts so you can figure out what goes where for sure.

another option is to go back to the case it came out of and start tracing wires. follow the lights from the front of the case to the board and note which pin it connects to. then hook up the new case there. may be able to do the same with front audio/headphone connections. you may be able to piece by piece get them hooked up that way.

as for the usb headers, not sure how that may work. you'll need the pin lay out to see what they did different. gonna need that service manual for that. i don't have time right now to do some deep searching, but that is what you'll need to do. someone out there has probably done the same thing you are trying to do and posted notes on what went where. that's usually what i end up finding as i search

Ok- I got all the pins working! I have another problem though. I simply cannot determine what type of USB hookup is used for the Front Panel USB's. Have you ever seen anything like it?
