I am currently running crossfire r9 270s with 3 27" monitors in eyefinity.
I recently purchased a UHD 4k res 55" which is mounted on a nearby wall. I want the option to use it as a monitor but I don't need it as a standalone monitor.
I am perfectly content with it simply being a duplicate of one of my other monitors. The only 5760X1080 thing I use is my desktop background, I run everything in 1920X1080. So if the TV mimicked 1 of the monitors in the setup, it would work for what I want.
Is this achievable with just a DVI splitter or is it more involved? Does it need to be a powered splitter? Which one is best to split in a DVI/DVI/DP configuration?
Trying to get a little more info before I just start blindly spending money. Thanks.
