I’m having a problem with my CPU. My motherboard EZ Debug light is on cpu so i’ve tried many solutions. I’ve reseated it, unplugged everything and plugged it back in. I even returned it and got a new one but i’m having the same problem. All of the fans work

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
GPU: MSI RX 580 8gb
MOBO: MSI B450M PRO-VDH
Ram: Patriot DDR4 (2x4) 2666MHz
PSU: EVGA 450w

Solution
I had ram issue (half detected) with my first and current build so i know that feeling. That sounds like a ram issue to me. I would try to return the ram and get some ram on your manufactures QVL compatablility list instead.

Hey I tried doing that. My MOBO didn't come with a jumper cap so instead I removed the battery and let it sit for a minute and put it back but the CPU LED is still on. I tried this a couple of times but each time it didn't work

You can bridge the pins with a metel screwdriver if you have the pinsnon the board. You need to have the power connected when briding the connectors. If removing the battery Make sure the power is off and your motherboard is completely disconnected from your psu when removing the battery for 5 minutes. This helps to drain ALL current left in the board.

hey, I tried resetting it with a screwdriver and that didn't work, then I unplugged everything including the ATX power cables and took the battery out for about 6 minutes and put it back in but the LED is still on and it's not posting to the monitor still.

Brand new build, it hasn't worked once. I'm new so I was hella sad when I found out it didn't work after planning for a year. This is my first build.

Okay, thank you for your help. Much Appreciated
