Hey everyone,

I am new to assembling a new computer and have run into some problems. My system configuration are:
CPU: Intel - Core i5-7600K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG - H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: MSI - B250M PRO-VD Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Storage: Crucial - MX300 525GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Video Card: MSI - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB GAMING X Video Card
Case: NZXT - S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair - CXM (2015) 450W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

When fully assembled, I don't see anything displayed on the monitor. The EZ debug (white) leds blinks on CPU and DRAM. So I reassembled the rig with only the power supply, motherboard, cpu, cpu cooler, and memory connected. I made sure every component was plugged in correctly but the monitor was still blank.

I later found out I had bent pins on the CPU section of the motherboard. I did my best to straighten them out. I also bought the same copy of the motherboard at Frys Electronics to continue testing. With the new motherboard connected, I still have the same problem (no display on the monitor).

I later found out that one RAM slot isn't being detected (the closest one to the CPU). The ram on slot 2 works since I tried both DRAMs and was able to get into the BIOS. This is the new motherboard too, by the way. I disconnected the motherboard and connected the components to my old "broken" motherboard. The same error was still there. The ram slot closet to the CPU wasn't working. I'm not sure if there is a specific way to install RAM or not. Like if I am supposed to plug one in first and set something in the BIOS to let the other work.

Since the RAM slot closest to the CPU was not working on both motherboards, is my CPU broken? There were bent pins on the CPU section of the motherboard and I think that might have damaged my CPU.

Can you please help me figure out the EZ debug light problem and the display problem?
