So before I explain my situation , these are my specs:

MB - B350 Gaming Plus MSI
Ram - 2x8 GB Corsair LPX 3000Mhz (blue)
CPU - Ryzen 1700x
GPU - GTX 1050Ti (I intend to upgrade but im using this until my new GPU arrives)
CPU cooler - DeepCool Gammax 400 (Blue LED)
Case - ThermalTake VersaN24 (Black)
5 Case fans
SSD - Cruxial 240 GB
HDD - Western Digital 1TB 7200
Bios - Latest update

So this is my new system minus the GPU which is from my old PC. It was running fine until yesterday. I entered the Bios yesterday and after changing ram from 3000mhz to 3200 which was fine a few days back (I turned it off because I didnt need it but I wanted to test it again because I connected a second monitor and I wanted to make sure that my bios profile that I had stable was working with a second monitor aswell) the computer didnt boot. Since then I cant get a display even though everything else turns on , fans rotate , LED's light up.

So I opened my case and I looked into my motherboard and after reading manual I found out that the EZ Debug LED's are lighting up red. First the CPU lights up then the Ram and it stops there.

My question is , if it went past the CPU , does that mean the CPU is fine and its the ram thats bad (hence why it stopped ON the ram) or does it mean that BOTH are bad?. Anyone ever faced a similar problem? if so what can I do? I just bought all the hardware recently so im pretty sure I can return my stuff through amazon but I rather not be douchy with sellers if its something wrong from my part , its also a hassle to return stuff.

Do keep in mind the reason I didnt test GPU was because I connected it right away to my old DDR3 System and it booted normally (its an Fx 4200 which needs a GPU to give me any display) so it must be working fine.

Any help is appreciated.

Solution
Yes, removing battery is resetting cmos, basically the same as clear cmos

Ram led on doesn't always mean that ram stick is faulty

If reset cmos doesn't work, try switching ram slot
So it means only the ram is bad right? When I say it stops on the Ram it means it doesnt light up the next LED's, but the CPU LED is still lighted which is why im confused. To summarize both CPU and RAM are light up but since it went past the CPU LED then I figured the problem is ram.

Regarding the Cmos reset. I dont have jumper so I took off the MB battery for a few seconds then put it back on, doesnt that essentially do the same or does it have to be a reset?
