Re: Lenovo Y50-70

My Lenovo came w/Win10...I put fresh Win8.1 install and is working fine. Now I want to factory reset in order to sell it but I cannot find the recovery partition. Could I have deleted it while installing Win8.1 somehow? Even the ONE KEY RECOVERY cannot find it! I read that the recovery is hidden in this model...and if so, it's hiding from me real good. I'd appreciate any help in regards to this matter and I thank you in advance. I'll also apologize if this was not the correct place to post!

Solution
Yeah if your system recovery partitions are gone, so is the factory reset unfortunately. The manufacturer makes their own recovery partitions usually too. They will all be on the same disk as your C drive if there are any, but sounds like you deleted them.
All it shows in AdminTools,as far as Disk ANYTHING is Disk Cleaning/Defragment Optimization...no where am I seeing a Recovery drive and/or Recovery Partition. While putting in fresh Win8.1 I may have deleted the Recovery Partition. Not sure what to do. Smh.

Upon checking DISK MANAGEMENT, I see no recovery partition/drive.....just C: Drive w/System Reserve right below it! So if I deleted the Recovery Partition when I formates the drives to put fresh Win8 install,i can pretty much kiss a Factory Reset goodbye?
