i have 2400 mhz ram (its supposed to run at 2400 but i runs 2133)
msi b350 pc mate mobo
ryzen 5 1600 with stock cooler
i tried to oc it at 3.8 ghz and rams with" msi memory try it " at 2400 (that option includes ram timings)
first i give 1.275 v cpu voltage
it booted and it was good at games and normal use and temps were good
i decided to do a system stability test with aida 64
after 3 minutes i faced with a running pc with a black screen
i closed it from power button and started again
it booted in windows succesfully
the max temp before it shut downed was 73°C
i give 1.3 v voltage next time
the same things happened again(heat was 74°C only different thing)
i get into the bios and reseted settings by pressing f6 (load optimized defaults) and booted into windows
i ran the same test and it ran for 1 hours at 64°C and i closed the test on my own no shutdowns
did my gpu cpu any parts of my pc got damaged?
why did pc black screen at stress test in 3 minutes?
is resetting the bios by load optimized defaults enough for removing the oc settings and make the pc run like before oc?
im afraid of my pc to happen something to it
i hope that i didnt oc it :|
i use latest bios

Solution
no damage. MB will protect components because 1.275v is not enough to stabilize. It is normal, I have black screens more than 20 times during OCing :) Usually too high voltage will damage. 1.3v is far from dangerous, good voltage and temp. You should be happy
