As says in the title.

I just a minute ago updated my bios to the latest version, and all went well. After restarting the computer I had an error pop up telling me to switch my RAM round into their selected optimised slots, and as I was having trouble getting my advertised speeds I went ahead and did it. Weirdly though, switching the RAM to the “Optimised” slots on the motherboard the computer won’t POST with a solid LED on the CPU, leaving me having to switch the computer off by the mains. Why is this??

My current used slots are

1-0-1-0 if that makes sense, the optimised slots I was informed to use was in the other two spaces

SPECS:

Ryzen 5 1600

MSI B350 Tomahawk

CORSAIR VENGEANCE 16gb 3200

Solution
I updated chipsets etc using MSI’s live update and it seem to have fix it, leaving it up as a possible solution to whoever had the same problem.
