Failed Windows update almost every restart

Almost every time I restart or power down my PC, windows updates. The update follows through as all updates do, but after it reaches 100% the windows update fails and removes the update and restarts which takes just as long as the update.

If you can see which update is failed go to : http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/home.aspx

Search and Download then install the update.

If manually installing the particular update that is causing issues does not work, and it often doesn't, you can use the Windows update hider tool to stop the PC from trying to download the update.

Go into Windows update, look at installed updates, and find which one is failing. Note the number.

Download the Window's update hide tool from Microsoft called wushowhide.diagcab from this page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/3073930/how-to-temporarily-prevent-a-driver-update-from-reinstalling-in-window

It's "Download the "Show or hide updates" troubleshooter package now."

Select the update or updates that are causing issues and hide them. Your PC should then stop trying to download the update that is failing to install on your PC and causing this issue.
