Unfortunately, pixels that are permanently off or stuck is a natural defect that can occur in LCD monitors.
Reset monitor to the factory settings using the function buttons in the OSD menu and perform a Self-Test.
Press the Menu button > Select Display > Reset Display
Disconnect all display and USB cables.
-Press and hold the button 3* for 5 seconds. A gray screen appears.
Inspect the screen and see if the line is present.
-Press the button 3 again, the monitor color changes to red.
Inspect the screen and see if the line is present.
-Press the button 3 again, the monitor color changes to green.
Inspect the screen and see if the line is present.
-Press the button 3 again, the monitor color changes to blue.
Inspect the screen and see if the line is present.
-Press the button 3 again, the monitor color changes to black.
Inspect the screen and see if the line is present.
-Press the button 3 again, the monitor color changes to white.
Inspect the screen and see if the line is present.
To exit, press Button 3 again.
If the line line remains the you need to contact Dell and RMA the monitor.
*Button #3 is the third button counting from the monitor stand.
