Fake or first copy computer parts??

Hi I am from India.

Is there anything like fake or first copy
or replica computer parts.
As I was browsing the net for second hand parts. I was getting some really cheap parts like gtx 1080ti for $300 etc. And much more.
So are they safe to purchase ?

There are fakes especially with gpu's.

No most of those are scams,
A gtx660 with a modded bios that reports it is a gtx 970 etc... kind of thing.
