Don - no need. It should all work fine ... at least it does on mine
😛

Believe it or not, the "Falcon Dance" is a fair bit simpler than it
used to be. FF3 + CobraOne without the add-ons (Aeyes, Hi-Tiles, BazT)
is almost too easy <gg>.

It really doesn't take long ... and well worth it still - after all
these years (hard to believe!).

And if you use the "Cellular Rapace's" Installer it automatically
installs:

FF3
FF3 2in1
HiTiles (if you own them)
BAZT

Your all set to go with a beautiful install...

I just ran the CobraOne installer on top of it and was done!

Actually it's called the IUC Installer -
"IUC, which consists of an all automated installer (FF3 + HotFix 1n2 +
Config Rapaces + HFFM's + L2E + Rapaces launcher, with the ability to
chose the bandwidth settings for both clients and server, and the
ability to switch between both 2.003 and 2.0614 exe)"

Anyone gotta link to this "IUC Installer"????

On second thought, it's gonna be a week before my living room is back - no
flight sims until then (not enough room where I am for rudder pedals)

Oh well, HL2 is keeping me distracted.

Note for Don ... make sure you program your chaff/flares before
leaving home. The default setting only squirts out chaff. And I
wondered why I died every time <ggg>.

I usually just flick the switch on one further notch.

I bought F4 not long after it came out. I bought the three ring binder
manual version as I thought it would be a collector's item. I played it
without reading the manual at all and had fun. However I could never get
into it because of the learning curve. I'm gonna try it again but without
all those non-official patches. I'll worry about them later.

F4 is so well made and it's a shame they never put out any more mission
disks for it.

I too still like to play Fighter's Anthology. It's old but in my
opinion, it's the best flight simulator out there for gameplay. It had ever
hot spot in the world and every aircraft I can think of. I just wish I knew
where to find some multiplayer games.

Hate to be the bearer of bad new but unless you are running it on a
machine with a VooDoo card (Glide API) you are out of luck trying to
run it without one of those "non-official patches" you mention. All
versions up to and including 1.08 will crash, as I remember, in the
debrief sreen every time.. IF you get that far.

Runs just fine on my GF card, with only 1.08 installed. (have superpak on

It's been a loooong time but I seem to remember there being a major
problem, getting a Device error or something on mission exit.. Glad
it works for you, but 1.08 is scrap compared to what is available now!

Well I am running FreeFalcon3 on a ATI X800 pro and it runs fine.
So I am not sure what all of your issues are, but the game is fine on
the latest hardware.
