Hello. I recently built a new PC, and was running Fallout 4 with no crashes. Here are the specs:
MSI GeForce GT 730 Fermi DDR3 4GB DirectX 12 (N730-4GD3V2)
AMD FX-8300
Stock AMD CPU Fan
Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3
1TB WD Blue 6GB/s 64 MB Cache 720 RPM
Cooler Master Elite V2 - 550W
1x8GB DDR3 Memory
1 Case Fan

I upgraded my GPU to a Sapphire Nitro RX 460X 4 GB GDDR5. I ran Fallout 4 and started to have the problem of playing the game for about 5 mins, and then my PC would randomly reboot. All other programs, such as Chrome, Skype and Steam are working fine. I am not an expert so I can't tell if my CPU is overheating, but I think that my PSU is the problem. The PSU is only 22 days old. I do leave my PC running at night. I run Fallout at High Settings, 1920x1080. I tried lowering the settings, and the game would run longer but I still ran into the same problem. I really don't want to have to buy a new PSU, so please don't suggest that option unless you think it is the only option that would help. Thank you.

Solution
The Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 is the only 760g board, to my knowledge, that has a heatsink, for the VRM's. It at least has that going for it. That FX 8300, being a 95w cpu, shouldn't be any worse than running an FX 6300, in theory anyway.
It's your power supply I had a SeaSonic X-1250 do the same thing to me before it went out completely it would crash restart my computer every time I try to play a game but would let me use the internet with no problems at all and one day it would not stay on past 5 min a new power supply solved my problems

It could be the PSU, but it could also be the fact that you're also running an AMD FX-8300 on a motherboard that isn't equipped to properly handle it and without proper cooling. The AMD stock fan is not the same as the Intel stock fan and should not be used. The FX-8300 is a power hog and the 78LMT motherboards are older boards that can't handle wattage spikes, which is exactly what is happening with your system.

What was the new power supply you got?

FX 8300 is a 95w, so it is fine with that board. I would also say PSU. Those CM elites are junk. A CX550m would be a good replacement.

CM Elite is indeed [near] junk, and probably can't hold up its end of the log. It is also true that your CPU may be stressing your motherboard's VRMs. Since the one you have is bad anyway, I'd replace the PSU and see if that solves the reboots. If it does, great. If not, we'll look further into ways to make sure your VRMs are staying cool enough.
