[SOLVED] Fan control with Antec DP502 "Dark Phantom"

A co-worker just bought this case, and really likes the pretty lights, but says the fans are too loud. Is there any way to throttle them back? From what I can tell, the chassis comes with a really nice RGB controller but seemingly offers no way to quell the jet engine noise.

Information is sparse, but it also seems as if the case fans are not PWM friendly. I guess he can go out and buy his own fans, but that seems kind of wasteful considering the nice effects you can get out of them & the onboard RGB controller.

try connecting to onboard fan headers instead of directly connecting to PSU. you can find the needed converts on amazon.com and other online shops , sometimes they even send them to you for free if you ask them
