Fan setup in Corsair Air 240; 2 fans enough?

I will be building inside a Corsair Air 240, and my mobo only has a single 4-pin case fan header. Other components are i3-6100 with Cryorig C7 and an MSI 950 single fan, nothing overclocked.

I was thinking of using a fan splitter and placing just two fans in the case, one intake and one exhaust. Example: http://i.imgur.com/W4PlZSc.jpg
Another possibility would be to place both fans as front intakes. But I've been told to always have at least an intake as well as exhaust.

This case has very good airflow with filters and the other components shouldn't be generating too much heat, right? So will 2 fans for the whole case in either setup be enough? I am trying to avoid to third because the third will have to be powered by psu, which would make it run at full blast.
Thanks in advance!

it might be scary, but more power runs threw those 4 (or 3) pins than you think. you shouldn't be afraid of running 2 or 3 fans off of one connector.

No 3-pin header. The motherboard has a total of a single 4pin cpu header and a single 4pin case header.
Which setup would you suggest? Both as front intakes or front intake/top exhaust?

You should be able to power 3 fans off the 4pin connector.

does not sound right that you do not have other headers. 3pin is fine, even for 4pin fans.

edit: you want more intake than exhaust. Top should probably be exhaust though. You simply do not want more exhaust than intake.

I've thought about splitting 3 fans from the single header, was just concerned about long term effects/shorting out the only case fan header on the entire mobo.

Also, the mobo is Gigabyte's GA H110m-a; $15 after rebate. Bit the bullet and trying to build the most I can with the least I can. It is unfortunate that is doesn't include just one more fan header, though.

You are correct, but I am looking to run two, possibly three, case fans off the single case fan header. The cpu header will be used only for the Cryorig c7 cpu fan.
Sorry for any confusion!
