[SOLVED] Fan up v Down ?

Current PSU by coolermaster has the fan facing downwards, Most the Corsair RM X series have it facing upwards.
Does it matter which way it is ? And can you put it " upside down " ?

PSU fan placement usually is facing down. It should not be used with fan facing up.

Only in very specific situations it would make sense using PSU with fan in upwards facing position -
if psu is at the bottom of pc case and bottom has no vents.

Quite similar. RMX costs slightly more.

Every PS I have seen is pull air in from bottom push it out the back. Cool air in from outside (room air) not pulling in hot air from the PC case,

No. They're the same. Gravity does not impact power supplies.

RMx series has some better components than the RM series.
