Hi,

Recently, I had to open my case to improve my cable management. Then upon turning on the system, I had my fans spinning and everything seems to sound and look right inside my case. But my monitor shows plain black as if it can't detect any input. So as my keyboard and mouse, these two were not functioning as well. So I double checked my cables. Still no luck 🙁 (Btw, this is already an old PC of mine.)

Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-3470
GPU: 750W Cooler Master GX II
Motherboard: GA-H61M-S1 (Rev 4.0)
RAM: 2 x 4GB HyperX
GPU: GT 730
HDD: 500GB and 1TB Seagate Drives

UPDATE: I replaced the CMOS. Then I turned my system on again. The mouse and keyboard are functioning already. Upon reaching the "Starting Windows" screen a split second of a BSOD can be seen. Then it reboots again.

when you cleared the bios the sata chipset defaulted back to ide or achi. depending on if your formatted the drive whe nthe mb was in one of those modes installs one set of drivers. if you switch the sata ports to the other setting windows will barf. go into the bios if the sat ports are set to ide set the to achi mode.
