Not sure if this is the right place for this.
Anyways, I installed the NZXT HUE into my PC and after turning it on I noticed all the fans on my system visibly slowed down. Here are my system specs:

i5 3570k
ASROCK Pro4
Powercolor 7950
8GB of Kingston Ram
2TB Seagate HDD
DVD Drive
Hyper 212 EVO
A Corsair 750w PS
Plus 3 140mm fans and 3 120mm fans all plugged into a NZXT Grid

So basically because the LED's are on it just makes it look like the fans are slowing down?

Pretty much, yes. Best way to tell if a fan has slowed down is to listen to it. If take power away from the HUE does the system still sound exactly the same? If so then they haven't changed.

In general the RPM of fans is too high for your eyes to make out and process in any rational fashion so they will end up playing tricks on you especially if you have changing lighting conditions, and since the HUE can dim/change color of the LEDs they are going to have a slight flicker to them which is going to exacerbate the issue.
