Ok so recently I’ve bought a new motherboard, CPU, and ram

My motherboard is MSI ProSeries AMD Ryzen A320 DDR4 VR Ready HDMI USB 3 micro-ATX Motherboard (A320M PRO-VH PLUS)

My new Ram is Ballistix Sport LT 8GB Single DDR4 2666 MT/s (PC4-21300) DR x8 DIMM 288-Pin Memory - BLS8G4D26BFSB (Gray)

A cpu Ryzen 5 1600x

Gtx 650

759 watt power supply

Idk what the pcu is

This was my first time actually taking a computer apart but the first day I got my parts I took the old motherboard out and put the new one in. But I think I found it what it is my ram does not click into the ddr4 ram slot no matter how hard I press still nothing it just goes in and I try pressure on the other side and then the side I just applied pressure to goes up and it’s loose but I’m not sure maybe I’m putting it in wrong??? Plez help.

Woops sorry forgot to include that in the thread my gpu is a gtx 650

Oh, well that's okay then. I thought you didn't have a graphics installed which is why you were getting nothing on the monitor, but that's not the reason obviously.

RAM must be clipped in fully --- you are supposed to press both ends down simultaneously until it clicks in at both ends.

Another thing, Ryzen's are fussy about RAM --- if possible use only RAM that's been tested by MSI, any others may not work.

(tried to put you a link here to RAM compatibility lists on MSI support site, but no dice at moment (MSI server overloaded).
