A few days ago, my PC went to sleep per usual when I walked away and came back, started it back up and noticed the RGB on my case fans weren't working. All of the fans work properly, I haven't done anything at all to change it. I built this PC around a year and a half ago and have had 0 issues.

I double checked the wiring, cleaned the case, and it still happened. I unplugged the power supply and held down the power button and the remaining charge DID turn the lights on for a second.

After plugging the PSU back in and starting the PC, the fans worked just fine. This went on until the PC powered off OR went to sleep again. It's a MSI case and there is nothing that I've done recently that may impact this. I've updated the MSI Center app, but haven't done a deep dive into this.

Any ideas?

To add, when posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

My apologies!

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X

In an interesting turn of events, I have not done anything today to address this issue, but the lights turned back on themselves. Despite this, the controls VIA the case do NOT work to adjust the lights (switching colors), nor does any software that I had (Mystic Light did not seem to work beforehand, but I have it downloaded regardless). They are just plain white at the moment.
