So I just bought and installed far cry 3 and I'm trying to figure something out. When I set the overall setting to ultra only like 3 settings are ultra, a few very highs, and a few highs. I went into custom to try and set everything to ultra and the same thing, only a few will even go to ultra and some of the options only go to high. Its like ultra doesn't exist on those options. I wanna say textures is one of them that only has a high option and environment for example. Why can't I turn everything to Ultra? Or is this how the game is supposed to be and I can't turn everything to ultra. Thanks.

How ?

Processor Type: AMD Quad-Core FX-4100 Processor
Hard Drive Size: 1TB
Multimedia Drive: 24x DVD+/-R/RW Drive
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Monitor Size: N/A (Have My Own)
System Ram: 8 GB
Primary Color: Black

This Is A Very Good Processor 3.60 GHz. My Mom Desktop Has 2.8Ghz.This Has 8 GB RAM !! My Mom PC Has 4 GB RAM.
I Don't Understand IS It Because Of The Video Card ???
&& If There's Low FPS About How Much DO YOu THink I Can Average On Each Setting ??
-DEPRESSED-

So I Will Test It When My Mom Orders It & If I Don't Like It I'll Upgrade It. I'm Pretty Sure I Can Upgrade It Right ??
Also, Can It Run MW3 & BF3 ??

Hi :)

It will run them on very low settings, maybe...

You CAN upgrade it...here is my graphics card as an example... >>> http://www.powercolor.com/us/products_features.asp?id=423

Thats $1000 US ...lol

Now can you see why that little graphics card is so bad ?

All the best Brett :)

Don't buy it, seriously. It's not even worth buying and upgrading the video card. That will not run any modern games over low settings with low fps. Medium or higher is beyond unplayable.

6GB GDDR5 ? WTF THAT'S THE BEST GRAPHIC CARD IVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE !!!!!!!!!! DUDE HOLY *** ! You Can Any Game ! I Wish I Had That !

So Then What A Good PC With :
3.0+ GHz
A Good Video card
With 500 Or More GB HDD
6 Or more DDR3 RAM

AND UNDER $500

Seriously none. You will not find a pre built in the price range you want, for what you want it to do. Even a modest card for the games and settings you want is $200/300 ish and that's just the video card

Hi :)

Because its CHEAP... no real advantage over 8 gb for gaming though...

Graphics cards are easy to explain... as I say to the customers in my Computer shops...

The MORE you PAY the BETTER you get....

Mine is $1000 and the best in the world...

$500 gets a real great card...

$200 gets a just about usable gaming card...

Anything below that cost....forget it for gaming...not if you want good graphics in games at reasonable settings...

All the best Brett :)

For what you want it for its not worth spending 500-600 just to play games on lower to middle end. Save up a few hundred more so its worth it. Otherwise if you just want to game on low settings, get the games for 360 or ps3 instead for way cheaper
