4x4 HyperX DDR3
Asus Rampage IV Formula

The Issue:
I've been playing FC5 for awhile now at 1080p no problem, constant 60fps with no hiccups. I bought a new 4K monitor and even though I'm not playing the game at 4K I am still experiencing performance issues. I had initially bench marked it and didn't like the performance so I scaled it down to 2K and eventually 1080P but the same issue persists at all resolutions. Even at 1080P I can still get 60fps but the issue will still be there. Its basically like clipping inside of a wall in Half Life 2 or Garry's Mod, where you see a constant image except for what few things may update on the screen, but they don't get removed. I experience that in Far Cry 5 every time I boot it up and try to run around or look down my sights.

Solution
I fixed the issue by resetting the graphics settings to default and then bumping them back up to med-high settings. Runs between 45-60fps, some fight scenes drop down to 30fps.
