Far Cry 5 low gpu usage

In Far Cry 5 I have a gpu usage of 30-50 and it causes the fps to drop to the 50s. I have a 1080ti, i7 6700k, DDR4 16gb 2400mhz, and my monitor is 1080p 60hz. V-sync on or not I still have a low gpu usage and my cpu usage is around 60-75 so, I know it's not a bottleneck. I don't have this problem in other games just Far Cry 5. pls help

Are the drops just happening in heavily populated areas/major dogfights?
Are drivers up to date? The game just came out, there's likely a few bugs that still need to be ironed out.

Sadly, you're not going to get much more in terms of gpu usage when the card you have is overkill for the monitor you're currently using.
1080ti isn't going to get much of a workout at 1080p 60hz... you may as well have saved some money and a got a 1060 6gb, or 1070 for that matter. There is a bottleneck alright... it's your monitor.
I guess you could turn the graphic settings to ultra, if you haven't already.

I just did a benchmark while playing: Avg: 73.732 - Min: 57 - Max: 111 but, sometimes it drops to 50

Do you know if in the benchmark it is the averages or highs.

Try higher DSR resolutions. Try 1440p for starters. Also try to set VSync to Adaptive, before and after the resolution change.
