CyberPowerPC - Gamer Ultra Desktop - AMD FX-Series - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive - Black/Blue That is my computer please look at it on best buy it is for $599 if that helps finding it I am wondering if it can play Farcry primal at 30+ fps or atleast stay in that range it plays ark survival evolved at 30 fps on low and that is a pretty strong game to run please reply as soon as you can also on 480p or if it can 720p

Does it have a discreet graphics card? Since there is no mention of it I doubt it. Meaning you can play Candy Crush and Solitaire and that's about it. And a direct link would be helpful.

Something like this.
It can run any game at 60+ frames med-high settings on 1080p

Not sure that helps since he says he already owns the listed system.........

If you already own the system run the game and see the frames yourself, you'd get different results than those benchmarked ,probably lower, but as it is not at 1080p,you should be fine. And Farcry Primal isn't a game that requires very high end PCs either, also unsurprisingly the difference between ultra and low quality is not very noticeable.

Just checked your PC, they didn't bother putting the name of PSU in description. From the image,it's power co. something? looks cheap and that's no surprise these pre-build PCs mostly don't include good quality PSUs, only if you could exactly told us the wattage of PSU.

Anyways, the r7 240 consumes upto 125w, around same as a gtx 960, likely should be fine.

Yes and probably not. There are some decent units quite cheap that would allow you to run a GTX 960 though.

The Antec VP450 is only $32.

The Corsair CX 500 is only $36.

Either of those would work fine. I would spend a bit more myself on something that's a little higher quality like this Seasonic for $55 but the cheaper units should work fine if budget is a huge concern.

No...the R7 240 system uses 125 watts. The card gets its power from the PCI-E slot alone.

The GTX 960 uses 125 watts by itself. The system uses 235 watts. The GTX 960 also comes needing 1 x 6pin, 2 x 6pin or even 1 x 6 and 1 x 8pin supplementary PCI-E connectors depending on the exact model and factory overclock.

The CX series is a fine budget power supply. But that's what it is, a budget power supply. As long as you don't stress it, it will outlive its 3 year warranty.

There are better budget PSUs, CX 500,600,750W are low end units. There is CX 430M, much better than its big brothers for cheap.

Antec VPs are Tier 3, good enough for low-med gaming PCs, CX 430m is Tier 2b.

Antec VPs are not very high priced PSUs, Antec VP 550W would be a decent option.

The CX430M is based on the same CWT DSAIII platform as the CX 500 I recommended. How you figure it's better? It's the CX 450M, 550M and 650M that got the DC to DC refresh.

The tier list is much more of a suggestion than something set in stone. And there are at least 4 different tier lists that I know of so there's that.

And no, at $36 there is no better deal than the CX 500 as I listed above. The Antec is similar quality. You have to move up to the mid $50 range for a quantifiable step up in quality.

CXM 430w i meant to say.

Review : B2 750w - http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=393

Antec VPs are a bit better than CX overall,if a 450w is available at you,i'd grab it but only if it is cheap, at 44$ the PSU suggested above is just a better option.

You don't even want to try to run a card that needs supplemental PCI-E power connectors with a power supply that came with a budget system like that. Just get a new one and you won't have to worry about it.

Get a new what and could the pc run the gtx 950 I don't have the money to get the 960 and I know the 950 is a huge upgrade compared to the R7 240 and the power supply is sparkle power and 103W and says total output continuous shall not exceed 350w could that support the gtx 950
