hi there, i making a new thread because i need to know as soon as possible

so what i heard RAM NON-ECC are better? right? faster? and i am not planning to OC THEM for 100% sure so thats why i go for 2400Hz which is enough i guess or 2666Hz?

i have :

i7 6700k
GTX 980 Ti
MSI Z170A PC MATE

and i am not sure about RAM, for what i should GO

Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB - PC4-19200 - DIMM

http://www.komplett.ie/crucial-ballistix-sport-16gb-pc4-19200-dimm/80035278/details.aspx

is Crucial Ballistix good brand? can you recommend then? better then Kingston Hyper X FURY?

or

Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2400MHz DIMM 288pin Non-ECC CL15

http://www.dabs.ie/products/kingston-hyperx-fury-16gb--2x8gb--ddr4-2400mhz-dimm-288pin-non-ecc-cl15-hx424c15fbk2-16-BKLL.html?q=kingston%20DDR4&src=16

or
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DIMM C14

http://www.dabs.ie/products/corsair-vengeance-lpx-16gb--2-x-8gb--ddr4-dimm-c14-memory-kit-cmk16gx4m2a2400c14-B9Q3.html?q=corsair%20vengeance%20DDR4%202400&src=16

and what is the difference between DIMM and SODIMM? DIMM are for PC and SODIMM are for LAPTOPS?

thank you

SO-DIMM is Small Outline Dual In-line Memory modual, This means its used for laptops and notebooks, smaller stuff.

Also as for your ram, You should not choose ANY of those. You should buy a 2x4 or 2x8 DDR4 2133MHZ Dual Channel Set. Your MOBO will only handle 2133, It handles all the other frequencies above 2133 once the motherboard and cpu have been properly overclocked. otherwise the board can only take ddr4 2133. Just a headds up

are you sure? says here http://www.msi.com/product/motherboard/Z170A-PC-MATE.html

DDR4 up to 3200hz?

and i definitely wanna 16gb

so you saying, there is no point going for 2400 or 2666 if i am not going to plan OC my CPU? that my burn out my CPU? has to be 2133 to work stable?

and when it comes to DDR 2133HZ for what brand i should go? i mean reliability and stability?

kingston wisest choice?

Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB - PC-17000 - DIMM

Crucial, and Kingstone hyper x are both very good choices, and yes how it says up to ddr4 3200(OC) this means you have to overclock the hell out of your board to run 3200mhz and oc the hell put of your ram. 2133mhz is what it supports without any overclocking. if you buy 2133mhz it will most likely give you the option to use the DRAM boost to get it higher without having to change any settings in the BIOS. Crucial and Hyperx are both good for overclocking, which is what you will want to get, one day you will decided to mess with it and push them way up.
it wont burn out your CPU, if you get higher ram then your computer just wont start, or it will automatically default them to 1600mhz. Believe me its even faster in most situations to just have the 2133mhz with TIGHT timings, as that will perform better then 2600mhz with loose timings.

ok perfect, so my last question i also heard that i have to go for NON-ECC isnt? that means without ECC? they will be faster? why? can you explain what is the main difference between have ECC and without ECC? and "NON-ECC" means without ECC?
