So I have this 8 GB stick that will get my pc to 12 GB, which is just temporary until I can get a new ram kit for 16 GB. My pc currently has 8 GB of ram running in dual channel @ 3200 MT/s. The spare 8 GB stick I have is single and running @ 2666 MT/s. If I combine these, they will run at 2666 MHZ, but it will be 12 GB instead of 8, which is a huge plus for me and will be run at 1 4GB stick and 1 8 GB stick. I have a Ryzen 3 5300g and I don't have spare ram slots, and I have heard that single channel ram hurts ryzen's performance alot, but I am running at dual channel, but also ryzen benefits from faster memory. So I don't know if its worth going to slower 2666 MT/s 12 GB ram for a while than 8 GB 3200 MT/s.

Solution
Half of the 8GB is running in dual channel mode, the other half is in single channel mode. It's something called Flex Mode. Also, If you're using the integrated GPU for gaming, faster overall performance (faster speed + multichanell) is better here.
