Fastest cheapest SSD sata 3 write speed

Wondering if somebody knows which one. The Mushkin Striker has a 565/mb read, beating out the Samsung 850 evo but it is currently pretty much off the market. is there anything better now available or in the works similar to the Striker? Also I plan on doing a raid 0. I have some yesteryear lower end ssd 240gb that are probably in the 500/mb read range, but I am looking for something of top tier performance and I figure I need 2 identical ones for raid 0, is that correct? Also wondering with Raid 0, if having 2 ssds that generally have a faster read speed than others, in raid 0, overall in benchmarks if it makes a difference. Not looking to buy another * SanDisk 240gb cheapo to accompany the other to achieve the raid, I want some decent 2016-2017 current best offerings as far as Sata 3 SSD's are concerned, not going to consider the pcie route if I can accomplish this for half the cost and also my older motherboard probably could not use a pcie as a boot drive either.

A single 500GB SSD is just as fast as 2 x 250GB in RAID 0.
