FASTEST CPU

all i can say is that this is a pII motherboard and it is running a celeron at 1.55 ghz...

The cpu is the same speed as a 2.0ghz p4...what more could i want...the upgrade was only 70 dollars...and i got what feels like to me new system...

I can run all of the latest games with my 9500...you are just so close minded...you see celeron and you automatically think it sux...

I do not get annoyed when people talk crap about all celerons...coppermine...medichino...northwood...those are all sucky celerons....

the tualatin celeron is NOT...contray to what you may think you have heard is not a bad cpu...at stock speed it is about equal to a willamantee...overclocked it is very fast...you have to remember this is a 3 year old cpu on a core that is being phased out...

The cpu has 256kb of cache like all coppermine and some tualatin based pIII's...the only thing limiting the cpu was the bus speed...but when overclocked it is a damn fast cpu...so i would watch it before you blindly assume that just cause you have you p4 or athlon xp you stupidly compare your current generation 200+ dollar cpu to my currently being phased out cpu...

now that is impressive.

the thing that makes celerons crap is this; they are meant to be low cost/value processors, yet ANYONE on a budget would be MUCH better off getting an Athlon (cheaper and much more pwerful), unless it is for upgrade reasons or something where this is impossible.

you need to chill out and stop slinging personnal insults.

compare my results to the post right under yours...about the 1900+...then tell me my cpu is crap...

This is a 440bx board! the max fsb it was ment to take was 100mhz it is running 140mhz just fine...

I am sorry but it just struk a nerve with me...i have been getting crap all day from my freinds cause i bought a celeron...until i show them my benchmarks scores and compare them to their cpu's they think i am a total dumbass...it very annoying that most people think all celerons are bad...the tualatin core celeron is very nice especiall for the price...

I do appologise...i was in a bad mood...i am sorry...

you can even look my mobo up MSI 6163 pro...it is a pII early pIII mobo...
