Faulty case or switch?

I bought a new case at the beginning of January. I installed everything, and it lit up for a split second and shut off. Repeatedly several times. Then it quit all together. I sent in my motherboard as I supposed I cooked it and got it repaired under warrenty (MSI). It just came in today, and I hooked it up laying on a piece of styrofoam as I figured maybe the case shorted it out. Worked good, booted and everything. Then I put everything in the case, and it blipped and shut off again. Beforehand, I tested the CPU, PSU, RAM, GPU and even the switch from my old case. Didn’t do trick (before repair). Now, I put everything into a different case, with a different graphicas card, different PSU, and it worked like 100%. Could this be a faulty case/switch combination that is intermittent? I still have some testing to do by using the new case switch on the other case I’m using and my personal power supply in the different case before I rule out that I need to put it in a new switch or trade for a new case

Well, i ruled out the problem. It’s the case. There are no standoffs inside the case, it has just holes raised off of the chassis but still connected to the case. I built everything into another case and used everything, even the switch from my new case, and it booted normally
