Faulty CPU tempetaure sensor

I built my own PC about a year ago and a use speedfan to check my temps. I have only just noticed that my CPU temp is always 26C and does not go up or down, even after playing games or benchmarking. All my other temps change. Is this a faulty sensor and if it is should i be worried or just leave it?

Try different software. SpeedFan is not reliable. Try your mobo utility software or Real Temp or Core Temp.

If my CPU Sensor is bad do I need to replace my cpu or is it fine to leave it

It will still be fine , is it under warranty , if it is you could RMA it.
