I have a Vizio television that I'm currently using as a monitor. In the bottom left of the TV is a proximity sensor that when your hand is placed over it, a menu to the corresponding button overlays onto the TV. This is what the menu looks like: http://i.imgur.com/SkPBjsG.png
The problem with the menu is that every 5 seconds or so the menu is triggered which is really awful trying to game with. There are no obstructions in front of the TV that may cause it to activate and placing tape over the sensor does nothing to make it any less sensitive. Something else that seems odd to me is that the menu only does this when there is a moving image on the screen, such as playing a game or watching a movie. The specific model of the TV is the VM190XVT. Thanks, this is driving me insane.
