hi

i think my new internal ssd drive (seagate barracuda q1 480gb) is faulty. on my base ps4 file transfer speed from internal hdd to external hdd is about 10 to 20 mb/s

on the other hand file transfer speed from internal ssd to external ssd is somewhat confusing!

file was 200gb and for about 10 minutes transfer speed was 60 mb/s

then gradually transfer speed decreased to 25 mb/s

actually the transfer speed was about 60 mb/s for 3 seconds and 25 mb/s for 10 seconds

i think my internal ssd drive is faulty because i didn't have unstable transfer speed on my external ssd (adata sd700 256gb) on the net it says if you see boot error, system freeze, game crashes, etc it means the drive is faulty but my internal ssd drive does not have such problems

is there any way to know if my drive is faulty or not?

tnx

Solution
Performance depends on the slowest device in the chain.

To and from an external something is much slower than what an internal SSD can do.

Install and run CrystalDiskMark for this Seagate drive.

Screencap the output, and post it here.
