Faulty Turing Temp sensor?

Hello, i just recieved my Aorus 2080 yesterday and in game the fans will run full speed after about a min in game. Hwmonitor only shows temps of about 45c when this happens. Ive tried ddu, older driver. Uninstalled and reinstalled programs. Reseated the card. Made sure the power cables are in right.

My 1080ti had never done this. Not sure if i have a faulty sensor or can fix it by some other means. Odd thing also Msi Afterburner fan speed settings are grayed out and i cant do anything with it. Ive tried latest beta build and live version. Thanks

I would try evga presicion instead of MSI afterburner. Some 2080s are not still compatible with MSI afterburner...

Thanks ill give that a shot. Now that i think about it i havnt tried running the card without afterburner open. Ill uninstall it and try running it
