Okay so I have a question for y'all you tech gods.In the past I had 1 usb drive and I formatted it,i installed all versions of windows, all kinds of Linux and at the end of the day it still worked. When I bought my second usb hard drive which is 16GB it did good work installing all the stuff I put on it.Now my issue is that I am not really sure if it is corrupted or not,but any kind of windows installation I put on it with rufus or the windows 10 media application from their own website gives all kinds of error codes when trying to install off of it,and some error codes are having literally no sense when you go and search what they mean.Another thing that might be worth noting my USB drive is 16gb but when plugged in and reformatted through cmd shows 14.4.Please help fast.

Solution
Hello

If it's a 16GB drive, it's normal if it shows 14.4GB as a usable space.

About disk corruption, you can try the DISKPART command to clean the entire drive as explained here, re-create a new partition, and then try using it again.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!!
