Question Favorites folder freezes and takes time to display the links

Hi, I have a HP laptop Windows 10 10 version 1903 (OS Build 18362.295). Each time I try to access my favorites folder my browser freezes for a few seconds and it takes a while for the links to be displayed and each time I want to go back to select another link it's the same story...

is it the same thing in all your folders or just in the favorites folder?

create a new admin user account and sign in using it and check if it is ok there, if yes then transfer all your user files from the old user account to the new user account
