How canb you remove the links folder on the vafourites list in IE?

Select Favourites on the IE Menu bar, then select Organize Favourites ,
search for and highlight the Links Folder and click the Delete button.

Tried that, however, reappears.

Hi,
As you've probably discovered, Windows will keep recreating the Links
folder. I find the Links folder/button to be very useful, but the easy, safe
way of getting rid of it is to browse to (probably)
[C:\WINDOWS\Favorites\Links] Right-click the Links folder> Properties>
select the Hidden attribute.

Scroll down to "Removing the Links Folder."

In that case, you could use TweakUI which has an option in the IE tab to
Show (or not show) Links on the Favorite menu

You can download TweakUI from Microsoft at :-

Following warnings/notes reproduced with acknowledgement to Koldbear

1) Do *not* change the first icon from "My Documents" on the Desktop tab
2) Do *not* uncheck: Search Results on the Desktop tab
3) Do *not* hide the Tweak UI icon on the Control Panel tab
4) Do *not* uncheck: Show Control Panel on Start Menu on the IE tab
5) Do *not* uncheck: Shell enhancements on the IE tab
6) To move "My Documents" folder, right-click on the Folder, and click
Properties.
