I'm coming from a long line of AMD builds, so this is my first intel setup in about 10 years. I threw this guy together, so firstly, I wanted to make sure the specs don't raise any red flags.
Corsair Carbide SPEC-ALPHA Case
EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G1 80+ GOLD 750W
Intel I7-6700k
ASUS ROG Z170 Express Maximus VIII Hero Mobo
32gb G-Skill Ripjaws DDR4
OCZ RD400 512gb M.2 PCIe ssd
Samsung 840 Evo 500 (512?) gb ssd
Windows 10 Pro
Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler
6x Cougar HDB 120mm fans (2 front intake, 2 top/back exhaust, 2 on h100i radiator)
Asus Strix GTX 970 (Pulled from my last build)
Does everything check out? If there were any changes that you would make, what would they be?
Also, I an currently running 2x 34'' LG Ultrawide monitors @ 1080p. Is there any real benefit to upgrading the gpu to a 1070 (or something else?)
I do some moderate gaming, but it's mostly stuff like DayZ and Company of Heroes.
Thank you for your time, you guys always give the most sound advice.
