[SOLVED] Few Keys not working on the Laptop

Hey guys,

I have a Asus F510UAR (also called the X510UAR). I had this problem with the keyboard a couple of months ago where few keys would not register. However with the 1909 Win update things returned to normal so I didn't pay much heed to it.
However the problem has come up again, and keys like 'a', 't' and few others aren't working.
I have tried the following:-

1. Resintalling the keyboard drivers.
2. Using an external keyboard (which works fine)
3. Tried to use the keyboard in BIOS (it doesn't work there)
4. Updated BIOS and Win 10 to no avail.

I tried to look up on this issue, it seems to be highly uncommon as I couldn't find a single thread on this.

Any advice or suggestions?

most likely the hardware component of the keyboard is faulty, may i ask how old is this laptop?

3 years. most likely its out of warranty.
