I have a NVidia GeForce 1060 3GB graphics card and when I open Forza Horizon 3 it comes up with error code fh501 your graphics card does not support Directx 12 but I look in the dxdiag and it says DirectX Version: DirectX 12. How do I get the game to recognize Directx 12.

Update, I found the following error in device manager for the display adapter: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43), which may be causing the aforementioned error. Will see what I can find on getting this error resolved first.
