I have a 4G USB Modem(its 4 years old) which i use with my Dovado DOMA but i gets very very hot and shuts down after like 20-30 minutes or on heavy loads and isnt fast, ive tried updating my router to the latest and even treid downgrading...with no luck. My apartment has Fibre so i decided to look at services they provide, 100 Mbit is a little bit too much for me (45$ per month) so im wondering, should i get 10Mbit/s fibre or Buy a good 4G router?

4G Mobile Broadband:
pros: Much faster
cons: capped at 100GB (only 100gb data)

Fibre:
pros: Unlimited
cons: slower( 10Mbit/s vs 80/Mbit/s)

Unlimited data is very important for me because i watch youtube and download ALOT but speed is also an important factor, i can live with normal/fast speeds(700KB+ Minimum), no need of ultra fast blazing speeds but it cant be too slow. So what should i get? Will fibre be stable and strong even if it is not ultra fast?

Solution
It depends on how much video you watch a day. You can easily blow a 100g cap (that is huge by the way mine 4g cap is only 3). ]

10mbit should be more than fast enough. Most video is less that 6mbit even for hidef streams. It would only be the huge 4k streams that netflix recommends a 20mbit connection to use.

If you actually download a lot of data then the uncapped connection will always be better. Lets say you have a 1gbit connection that has a 100g cable. You could hit that limit in a hour and then you have a useless connection for the rest of the month. It may take you longer to download some huge files but if you did that while you were in bed does it really matter.
Do you have 10Mbit/s fibre?
