File compare & extrapolate

I'm looking for Windows software that can compare (at least) three files, and extrapolate the parts that are common to (at least) two of the files.

I assume the files you are talking about are text-based files.

The only thing that springs to my mind is kdiff3. It might not be designed specifically for what you're thinking but it'd get the job done.
