I have a long-standing problem (i.e. several years) with File Explorer on my Windows 10 system. When navigating the file system (either using the File Explorer app, or using the file open/save dialogs), the UI does not get updated if I add, delete or rename a file or folder.
For example, if I open File Explorer and click on the New Folder icon I do not see the new folder in the right-hand pane until I hit F5.
Likewise if I rename or delete a file I need to hit F5 to see the outcome of the operation.
Any idea how I can fix this?

Does this occur on a remote location - i.e. file server ?

Now - I'm not that into Windows servers, but I guess the solution is within some setting regarding the file server.
No, this is a Windows 10 workstation, accessing files and folders on the local hard drive (but the same is true if SMB shares are accessed over the LAN).
