filename directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect

Hey,

I'm trying to get some pictures off of my d70s camera and on to my computer. Now the pictures show absolutely fine on the camera, however when trying to send them to the PC the following shows: http://i.gyazo.com/9463aa94267fbe796d4156e277c54fad.png
When I try to open one of the folders I get the following message:

I tried checking the drive for issues, and when renaming a folder I get the following:

Don't know what to do anymore, can someone help me?


EDIT: And on the second attempt correcting it all my files were deleted :S

I don't guess anyone has a solution for that...

try recuva to recover your picture https://www.piriform.com/recuva and just try to copy from the camera and paste them in the picture folder on the pc .

No it seems the MemCard you were using was corrupt. I would suggest you replace it. Also you can use any of the many 'USB adapter' Card Readers, take out the MemCard from the camera, plug in the reader, plug in the USB reader to the PC and look at the pictures that way to validate they are ok on the Memcard (then has nothing to do with the camera).
