[SOLVED] Files keep reverting back to read-only after unchecking the 'read-only' box.

Yes I'm logged in as an administrator. Already restarted the computer, already played with permissions. I want to mod Red Dead Redemption 2 through OpenIV and for that I need my game folder to not be read-only, but I cannot change it at all. This seems to apply to any file in my system. This issue didn't happen before.

Often misunderstood.

As it clearly states in any folder's "Properties" box, read-only only applies to files in the folder.

If it applied to the folder, the read-only option would contain a tick-mark, not a solid block.

Point being that it's preventing me from modifying the files in that folder because it's read-only.

Move the file elsewhere, modify as needed, and move it back.
