Question Filter over PSU intake

as much as i try, my room accumulates dust pretty easily. my PSU takes air inside my case and exhausts it out the back. i have fan filters in the front case intake fans. would it be bad to cut up a bit of nylon air conditioner filter and put it over the intake of my PSU to keep the compenents inside the PSU less dusty? something like this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Frost-K...-Nylon-Air-Conditioner-Filter-NF305/202262362

Make and model of your case and the PSU? As for your idea about the make shift filter, yes it's a bad idea. You will need to work with something like DemciFlex. perhaps migrate to a chassis that has a dust filter for the PSU, out of the box.

Thank you for suggesting a new computer case with a pull out mesh filter over the PSU's intake. But I can't justify spending money like that just for a PSU filter.

I'll look into the DemfiFlex brand.
