Only you, NirTH, can know if its worth it or not. Why do you want to buy the Hero board? Is there something on it that made you want to buy it?

The Z97-A/USB 3.1 is 50$ cheaper than the Hero.

Do you need usb 3.1 right now, no. In one or two years, maybe, it will depend on the choices you will make regarding usb devices.

i really like the way the HERO looks and its got amazing reviews in terms of OC the CPU with that board
I dont see the need in USB3.1 . i barley use the USB3 right now...from time to time i transfer a movie to my Usb device

its 2133 cl11 and not 1333 😀 also they look badass and should fit very good in the HERO

its 2133 cl11 and not 1333 😀 also they look badass and should fit very good in the HERO

i might take the asus 980ti it looks sick aswell 😀 and its red/black

so the memory is perfectly fine right?2133 cl11 should be gr8 - its also very cheap

now for the 980ti to be honest the EVGA one looks very very good
but i can get asus for much better for sure and its red/black so yea i might go with the asus

only thing i wish i could change is the AIRCOOLER/CASE FANS because the noctua colors kinda wierd...but its the best aircooler out there . same for case fans they have the best in terms of temps and noise level

In that case, you should go with hero, I dont care much about looks, but if you do, dont hesitate, go with hero :)

what do you think about the memory
i got few options

1.Crucial Ballistix Elite 16gb 2x8GB 1866hz cl 9-9-9-27
pros:fastest ram
cons:high price , bad looking compared to the HyperX Savage , height would require me to lift up the Noctua FAN

2.Hyper X Savage Series 16 2x8GB speed available are:
2400hz 11-13-14 1.65V
2133hz 11-12-12 1.65V
1866MHz, 9-10-11, 1.5V
1600MHz, 9-9-9, 1.5V

Pros:best looking for the HERO board , Low profile so i dont have to mess with the noctua fan, Price is very cheap
Cons:slower CAS

which ones should i go with ?

There was never confusion between 2133 and 1333mhz. why would any1 go with 1333mhz ram? Is it even available these days?? It was just a typing error- last 3 was entered by mistake. Anyways my point was CL11 vs CL9 will play a great role in boosting performance than a 1600mhz vs 2133mhz will..

Point being: Go for a RAM that offer Latency of 9 be it at 1600mhz or 1833mhz (Speed hardly matters unless you're a power user with 32gigs of RAM and all)
