biggest question is will my psu handle everything? from what ive read up it looks like it will do the job, any other comments also appreciated

You don't really need the fan controller and if you're getting the 840 get the Pro version - it's much better than the standard.

If you don't buy the fan controller you can upgrade your video card to a 7950.

Otherwise everything else looks good.

It should be fine. That system will probably suck up 500 watts at the max. I'd get a 750 watts P.S.U just to be on the safe side though (If you can afford it though) if not just look for same price alternatives

The only reason i wanna go with the fan controller is because 3 of my 5 fans dont have multi-speeds incorporated with them and sound will be an issue at night when i mostly game as my girlfriend will be sleeping not to far from my desk also a 700watt psu is on the back burner i think ill go with the safe side thank ya
