Question Final Fantasy XIV - Tooltips are flickering

Today when I logged in I noticed that most tooltips I hover over have begun flickering. The tooltips normally have a grey backround that supports the text, but now the box has begun flickering white then grey.

Yesterday night everything was fine but this morning this issue occured.

As far as I can tell this only occurs in FFXIV and no other game.

Anyone know of the issue or a fix? Any help is appreciated.

I would check to see if any patches or updates were released for the game. If none of them have, and the problem persists, I would back up the game files (steam?) and try to reinstall the game.
