RTX 5080 in place of the RTX 4080 Super when available.

Increase SSD to 2TB.

You don't really need an AIO for a 9700X, you could save about $70 with a large air cooler.

When is latest release date? last I heard was Jan 30...

Are you all pre-ordering? if so through where please...

I suspect these will all be sold out at launch and the stupid buy bots will suck up the supply and could make them not available for months... thoughts?

I was wondering if anyone is still looking at this post what is the best non overclocked RTX 4080 GPU,

any advice or help would be appreciated.
Have you picked up any of the other parts? Do you know how much you wanted to spend on the 4080? Its actually kind of hard finding stock of all the cards in that price tier around msrp currently. That said there is this 7900 XTX thats a really good deal at 800 right now, i have no clue how long it will stay in stock though.

What is the typical price range of good quality 4080?

These 2 are great coolers. When there was no Noctua there was Thermalright and Thermalright is known for having great coolers, especially for the older overclockers for example of the Core 2 era

Most reliable? Anything but Gigabyte 4090 basically. (known issues with the PCB failing under the weight of the card)

GPUs are made by TSMC, memory is manufactured by SK Hynix, Samsung, Micron, other PCB components are sourced from only a few manufacturers, the PCB itself, and the coolers. Many of the coolers are manufactured by Cooler Master, though some are in-house designs from the various Nvidia partners.

So effectively, it is all about assembly, and everyone is pretty good at it these days.

You can judge a GPU cooler a little bit by shipping weight and dimensions. Larger should be quieter and cooler, which should increase longevity. But most GPUs last well beyond the point of obsolescence.
